Langkang^® Perampanel Tablets are a third-generation antiepileptic drug (ASM) that non-competitively binds to the AMPA glutamate receptor on postsynaptic neurons. It inhibits excessive neurotransmission induced by glutamate, providing antiepileptic effects. It is the first and only non-competitive AMPA receptor antagonist. It is used for the treatment of adult and pediatric patients aged 4 and above with partial-onset epilepsy (with or without secondary generalized seizures).

Langkang^® Perampanel Tablets were approved for market on January 16, 2024, and are Qingfeng Pharma's first psychotropic drug to be approved. It passed consistency evaluation and is bioequivalent to the original product, offering more affordable options and more choices for epilepsy patients.
